Advantages of PrintNo question that “online” media is the darling media of the moment, but it is the answer to every advertising situation? 

Editors and publishers of traditional print vehicles scream “no” at the top of their lungs. They are partially correct. 

The fact of the matter is that many persons just prefer to read an advertisement rather than being bombarded by a more “in your face” type of advertisement from other forms of media. One of the main things print seems to have going for it is that it reaches the audience when they are in a more relaxed or focused frame of mind and therefore perhaps more receptive to the message. After all it is difficult to be reading the paper and making breakfast and talking to your son about homework all at the same time. The other advantage that print seems to have is innate credibility. For some reason if it is written in the paper or in a magazine it has a higher degree of believability attached to it. 

Whatever you may think about print, it is here to stay, continues to be a valuable tool in the advertising toolkit, and delights readers.
