Laundromat advertising isn’t the sexiest medium but it does reach a broad demo. The spectrum ranges from lower incomes in the suburbs and inner cities to the up and coming Yuppies of NYC. This type of adverting has high time spent viewing, assuming you stay with your clothes, and is impossible to miss. Thus, a great opportunity to be out of the box with your creative ideas like the Pepto campaign: You can also use more traditional placements such as window posters or floor pavers. The demos would be representative of the local community and costs for the standard month are quite reasonable. While these campaign are not for everyone, a campaign with the right creative could really clean up!
